Inter’s directors met with Simone Inzaghi’s agent, Tullio Tinti, on Monday morning, and they are on the verge of reaching an agreement regarding the extension of the coach’s contract, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.
According to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the meeting occurred Monday morning, and both parties are now nearing a complete agreement.
Inzaghi is close to finalizing a contract extension with Inter following discussions between his representative Tinti and the club’s directors.
Earlier reports indicated that discussions between Inter and Inzaghi’s agent focused on the duration of the new contract for the Italian coach.
In previous seasons, Inzaghi has renewed his contract with Inter annually. However, this time, he may sign a two-year contract or a one-year deal with the option for an additional season.
Currently, Inzaghi’s contract at the Stadio Meazza is set to expire in June 2025.
