Milan is eyeing Alvaro Morata, who carries a €13 million release clause in his contract with Atletico Madrid, as per Sky Sport Italia’s latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Spanish striker, currently a target for Milan’s summer transfer plans in attack, faces a decision on whether to move to San Siro, states the report. Despite Morata’s recent declaration on Instagram expressing his desire to stay at Atletico Madrid, Di Marzio suggests the striker aimed to dismiss potential interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Nevertheless, a move to Milan remains a viable option, with Morata likely to finalize his decision post EURO 2024. A former Juventus forward and current captain of Spain at the Euros, Morata recorded 21 goals in 48 appearances for Atletico Madrid last season.
Following the departure of Olivier Giroud to LAFC on a free transfer, Milan seeks a new center forward to bolster their squad.
