Greenwood excelled during his tenure at Getafe, but his future with United appears closed. Consequently, a price tag of €50m (£42m/$35m) has been set for the striker, a figure which Lazio has not yet matched.
The Serie A club has made an initial offer of around €25m (£21m/$27m) and must increase their bid. They’ve set a deadline of July 8 to finalize the deal, a goal they believe is attainable, according to Calciomercato.
Last season, Greenwood scored 10 goals and provided six assists. Apart from Lazio, Marseille has also expressed interest in securing his services.
With Lazio’s deadline approaching in just six days, they may soon submit an improved second bid for Greenwood. Whether he is open to a move to Italy remains uncertain.
