Mesut Ozil, the former Arsenal star, has been tipped to join WWE after showcasing an incredible 12-month body transformation. The 35-year-old retired from professional football in March 2023 at the age of 34. Since then, he has been dedicated to his fitness regime, frequently sharing progress updates with fans.

Ozil’s latest workout snap has stunned fans, with many labeling him an “animal” after seeing his ripped six-pack. Former teammate Mario Gomez even joked that Ozil was trying to become a “little Cristiano Ronaldo.” In his recent post, Ozil smiled for the camera, lifting his top to display his impressive physique, captioning it: “1 year very hard work.”

Fans reacted enthusiastically, with one commenting, “Bro is going to WWE,” while another suggested, “Bro is trying to fight in the UFC.” Ozil ended his football career with 23 goals in 92 caps for Germany, including being part of the World Cup-winning team in 2014.

At the club level, Ozil played for Schalke, Werder Bremen, and Real Madrid before joining Arsenal in 2013. During his eight years in England, he scored 44 goals, provided 75 assists in 254 appearances, and won the FA Cup four times. He concluded his career with stints at Fenerbahce and Basaksehir in Turkey.
