Napoli has officially announced that six players, including Piotr Zielinski, Leander Dendoncker, Pierluigi Gollini, Hubert Idasiak, Diego Demme, and Hamed Traore, will depart the club as their contracts expire.

In a brief statement on their website, Napoli expressed gratitude to each player for their professionalism and dedication during their time with the club, wishing them well in their future endeavors.

All six players were under contract until June 30 and will no longer be part of Napoli’s squad starting Monday. Dendoncker, Gollini, and Traore, who were on loan at Napoli, will return to their respective clubs—Aston Villa, Atalanta, and Bournemouth.

Zielinski, Idasiak, and Demme are now free agents and can negotiate with other clubs. Zielinski is reportedly close to joining Serie A rivals Inter on a free transfer.

Napoli’s new coach, Antonio Conte, appears poised to overhaul the team ahead of the 2024-25 season. Reports suggest his interest in signing Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno, Mario Hermoso, and Romelu Lukaku to revamp Napoli’s playing squad.
