Chelsea acquired Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa for £20 million ($25m) in the summer of 2022, signing him to a six-year contract. However, injuries have plagued his time at Stamford Bridge, limiting him to just 27 appearances over two seasons, with only four starts in the Premier League.
Chukwuemeka’s future hinges on the ongoing negotiations between Chelsea and Milan. From Milan’s perspective, this could be a strategic move to generate funds, enabling Todd Boehly and his team to revitalize the squad for new manager Enzo Maresca, who is new to managing at the top level.
