Chelsea have reportedly contacted Leicester City regarding the potential transfer of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The 25-year-old midfielder previously played under Chelsea’s new head coach, Enzo Maresca, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino earlier this summer.

Although no formal offer has been made yet, Dewsbury-Hall is open to reuniting with Maresca at Stamford Bridge, despite being contracted with Leicester until 2027. Dewsbury-Hall had an impressive season with Leicester, making 49 appearances and scoring 12 goals, contributing to their Championship victory. Previously, Brighton showed interest in him, even agreeing to a swap deal with Jakub Moder. However, Chelsea’s interest has left that deal in uncertainty.

Chelsea are keen to strengthen their midfield and have also shown interest in Leeds’ Archie Gray. The club, under co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, has been focusing on recruiting young talent. They have an agreement to sign forward Marc Guiu, 18, from Barcelona, and are close to securing defender Aaron Anselmino, 19, from Boca Juniors.
