After an exceptional 2022/23 season, Marcus Rashford’s recent form has sharply declined, failing to uplift Manchester United’s struggling attack and tallying only eight goals across all competitions. PSG has rekindled their interest in the winger, eyeing him as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is set to depart.
According to talkSPORT, PSG’s renewed pursuit of Rashford comes after their pursuit of Victor Osimhen from Napoli fell through. Manager Luis Enrique reportedly favors adding a winger over a striker, trusting Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani in central roles.
Manchester United, under new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is prepared to consider offers for the 26-year-old winger to bolster funds for future signings. While not actively seeking Rashford’s departure, the club would not obstruct a significant bid this summer.
Despite missing out on Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Euros, Rashford is currently on break and hopes to resolve his future before the pre-season begins.
