Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has immersed himself in talks with OGC Nice after reaching a preliminary agreement with Khephren Thuram. Initially focused on extending Adrien Rabiot’s contract before it expires on Sunday, Juventus has pivoted its strategy due to stalled negotiations, opting not to wait any longer for the Frenchman.
Giuntoli swiftly identified Khephren Thuram as a key addition to Thiago Motta’s rejuvenated Juventus project. He has already engaged closely with the 23-year-old and his representatives, finalizing terms for a contract in Turin.
Daniele Longo from Calciomercato.com reports that Juventus director Giuntoli is now deeply involved in negotiations with Nice to secure a deal for Khephren Thuram expeditiously, aiming to outmaneuver competition from Roma and Inter.
While Nice is holding out for approximately €25 million for the talented midfielder, Juventus aims to structure a deal around €15 million plus additional incentives. They are also exploring the possibility of including either Moise Kean or Arkadiusz Milik to help offset the overall costs of the transfer.
