Arsenal have reportedly launched a £17 million bid for Fenerbahce full-back Ferdi Kadioglu. Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his squad after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title last season. The Gunners have been linked with several players, including Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, and Bruno Guimaraes.According to Turkish outlet Ajan Spor, Kadioglu has emerged as a top target for Arteta.

The 24-year-old has been on the radar in recent months, and Arsenal have allegedly launched a £17 million bid to secure his services. However, Fenerbahce is holding out for around £30 million, and Borussia Dortmund has already tabled a £21 million offer. Kadioglu, primarily a left-back, can also play as a right-back, midfielder, and winger. A fan described his versatility on social media, noting, “He plays almost every position except goalkeeper! He’s predominantly right-footed, so I could see him as Saka’s backup and then used at fullback whenever needed.”

The Turkish international made 51 appearances for Fenerbahce this season, scoring three goals and assisting five. Should he join Arsenal, Kadioglu could become Arteta’s first-choice left-back but would face competition from Jurrien Timber, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Takehiro Tomiyasu. The Gunners kick off the 2024-25 Premier League campaign at home against Wolves in August.
