Roma have devised a strategy to acquire Torino’s right back Raoul Bellanova this summer as they embark on a new project under Daniele De Rossi’s leadership.

Newly appointed sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has initiated a shift in direction alongside the coach, prioritizing young talents who can immediately contribute to the first team and have the potential to develop into stars, thereby ensuring future profitability.

Additionally, Roma is actively seeking new destinations for several surplus players this summer, including Rick Karsdorp, Zeki Celik, Chris Smalling, Andrea Belotti, Edoardo Bove, and Nicola Zalewski, signaling a significant overhaul in the Italian capital.

According to details in today’s Corriere dello Sport (page 19), Roma’s director Ghisolfi plans extensive negotiations with Torino in the upcoming weeks to secure Bellanova, aiming to negotiate down his €20m valuation. Discussions between the two clubs will intensify following the conclusion of the European Championship.

De Rossi views the 24-year-old as an ideal addition to strengthen the right side of his defense, with Ghisolfi committed to satisfying the aspirations of the emerging coach through diligent efforts.
