According to TEAMtalk, winger Michael Olise has verbally approved Chelsea’s proposed terms. While he is still open to considering offers from other clubs, Chelsea’s offer stands out to him. The Blues are confident about securing the deal, particularly since Manchester United may struggle to meet his £60 million ($76.5m) release clause due to their pursuit of a top-quality center-back and financial constraints under the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR).

Chelsea intends to make a substantial upfront payment, supplemented by structured payments over several years, with the final deal exceeding £60 million. They are already in discussions with Crystal Palace and aim to finalize the deal swiftly, as Newcastle United and Bayern Munich have also shown interest in Olise.

Olise’s transition into Chelsea’s squad could be smoothened by his existing relationships with several first-team players. Additionally, his brother is a Chelsea academy player and recently extended his contract at Cobham, ensuring his stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

Despite competition from top European clubs, Chelsea’s proactive negotiations and attractive proposal have put them in a strong position to sign Olise. Under the management of Enzo Maresca, the club is keen to build a squad capable of competing at the highest levels in England and Europe.
