Pobega has caught the attention of Fiorentina, who have recently appointed former Monza manager Raffaele Palladino as their new head coach. The club is now strategizing for the summer transfer period and has identified midfield strengthening as a top priority.
Currently, Fiorentina awaits a decision from 34-year-old Giacomo Bonaventura regarding his future with the club. Bonaventura’s contract expires on June 30, and unless he extends it, he will become a free agent on July 1.
Meanwhile, Milan and Fiorentina have initiated discussions regarding Pobega. The 24-year-old faced limited opportunities in Milan’s midfield under Stefano Pioli last season, appearing in just 15 matches across Serie A and the Champions League. In the previous season, he featured 28 times and scored three goals.
