Milan’s young talent Daniel Maldini, son of club icon Paolo Maldini, may be attainable for less than €8 million in the upcoming summer transfer window, as reported on Friday. Lazio have emerged as the latest Serie A team showing interest in the 22-year-old.
During the 2023-24 season, Maldini was on loan, initially at Empoli before moving to Monza in January. He made 11 appearances in the top flight with Monza, contributing four goals and one assist.
Despite having a contract until 2025, Milan are reportedly keen to offload him this summer. Several Serie A clubs are eyeing Maldini, including Monza, Fiorentina, and Torino, according to TMW. Additionally, Il Messaggero states that Maldini’s agent has offered him to Lazio.
While Lazio are reportedly interested, they are also pursuing other young talents, such as Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from Hatayspor, who has a release clause of €7 million available to clubs outside Turkey this summer.
