Potter has been associated with the Leicester job ever since Maresca left to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Championship winners have initiated discussions with Potter as they search for a new manager to guide them in their return to the Premier League.

Having previously managed Brighton and Swansea, Potter is seen as a strong contender for the Foxes and has been linked with various Premier League clubs since his dismissal from Chelsea in April of last year. However, he is not the only candidate Leicester are considering as Maresca’s replacement.

Reports suggest that Leicester City have also engaged in talks with former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and are contemplating an ambitious move for Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic, who is reportedly unsettled at his current club.

Potter might return to the Premier League if Leicester decide he is their top choice for the head coach position this summer.
