Following Arkadiusz Milik’s anticipated absence from play due to a six-week injury layoff, Tuttosport suggests that Juventus might reignite their interest in Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

Milik’s untimely knee injury, sustained during a friendly against Ukraine, necessitated his withdrawal from the Poland squad for the EURO 2024 tournament. The injury, identified as a meniscus problem, requires surgical intervention, projecting his recovery time at around six weeks.

With Milik set to return for the upcoming season, Juventus remains keen on Morata, who could embark on his third spell with the club. The 31-year-old Spaniard previously donned Juventus colors from 2014 to 2016 and then again from 2020 to 2022.

While Morata is currently under contract with Atletico Madrid until June 2026, Tuttosport advises that if he decides to join Juventus, he may need to adjust his salary demands.
