Brentford have offered Romeo Beckham a new deal to stay with their B team. Beckham, son of former England captain David Beckham, began training with Brentford B in January last year. Initially joining on a six-month loan, he later agreed to a one-year contract.

As his current deal expires this summer, Beckham was not listed among the club’s released or retained players, indicating ongoing talks to extend his stay in West London. Beckham, 21, joined Brentford from Inter Miami, his father’s Major League Soccer team, where he played in the youth team after training with Arsenal’s academy. Although he has yet to make a first-team appearance, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has praised his abilities. “Romeo is a very good player. He is here for a reason, because we think he is a good player,” Frank stated last year.

The Bees recently announced the release of eight B team players, including Nathan Young-Coombes, Vincent Angelini, and Charlie Farr. However, Beckham remains in negotiations for a potential contract extension, highlighting the club’s interest in his continued development.
