According to AS, both Arsenal and AC Milan have expressed interest in signing the Ukrainian international Viktor Tsygankov, from Girona. The 26-year-old winger, who has a contract until 2027, has a £26 million ($33m) release clause.
After missing out on the Premier League title for the second consecutive season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking to strengthen his squad. Depth is crucial, and Tsygankov could be a valuable addition to the North London team.
Tsygankov, formerly of Dynamo Kyiv, joined Girona in January 2023 for a reported £4.25m (€5m/$5.4m). This season, he scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 34 appearances. Despite the interest, Tsygankov has stated that he will not push for a transfer, as he and his family are happy in Spain.
While transfer talks continue behind the scenes, Tsygankov is preparing to represent Ukraine in the European Championship in Germany later this month.
