Reports confirm that Daichi Kamada, having departed Lazio on a free transfer, is set to finalize his move to Crystal Palace in the imminent days.

Last year, the 27-year-old Japanese midfielder made a switch to Biancocelesti from Eintracht Frankfurt without any transfer fee, signing a one-year contract that included a clause for a unilateral extension, an option he opted not to exercise at the eleventh hour.

Although initially struggling to make an impact at Lazio under Maurizio Sarri, Kamada began to exhibit promising signs after the arrival of Igor Tudor in March. The Croatian coach expressed a desire to retain the midfielder, expressing frustration at the circumstances surrounding his departure from Rome.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Kamada has finalized an agreement with Crystal Palace and is poised to join the club on a free transfer in the coming days. His medical examination in London is scheduled for this week.
