In 2023, the English footballer made a high-profile move to Bayern Munich but despite an impressive debut season, he failed to win any major trophies.

During the summer of 2023, the English footballer secured a lucrative transfer to the Allianz Arena. Despite an impressive first season in Germany, where he netted an impressive 44 goals, he was unable to secure any major trophies, leaving his quest for silverware unfulfilled.

The failure of Bayern Munich to secure collective honors with the player has led to speculation about his potential return to the Premier League, where he is highly regarded, particularly by his former club Tottenham Hotspur, where he remains the all-time leading scorer.

Nevertheless, he is under contract with Bayern until 2027 and has expressed his commitment to leading the team’s pursuit of trophies in the upcoming season. After receiving the Globe Soccer Best Goalscorer award for the 2023-24 season, he took to Instagram to express his pride in the achievement, attributing it to the support of his club and teammates in his debut Bundesliga season, and expressing his determination to score even more in the future.

Unfortunately, his season was cut short by injury, preventing him from challenging Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga single-season goal record of 41, as he fell short at 36. Now focusing on international duties, he aims to lead England to glory in Euro 2024, with hopes of breaking records on the international stage.
