The footballer from Manchester City recently earned the title of Premier League player of the season, having guided his childhood club to their fourth consecutive title. Now, he’s eyeing his second FA Cup victory, aiming to once again outdo his father and brother.

In an interview with BBC Match of the Day, Foden disclosed, “I’ve got a couple [of family members who are United fans]. My dad’s a Manchester United fan, he’s a little bit quiet at the moment. I’m hoping to change him… but he’s sticking to his word to be fair.”

Foden’s relatives, staunch United supporters, haven’t had much to celebrate in City’s shadow in recent years, with Foden playing a pivotal role in their dominance. Since his debut, he’s etched his name as the youngest player to clinch six Premier League titles, along with an additional 11 significant honours. Should he triumph in the upcoming FA Cup match, his trophy count will reach an impressive 18.

As the European Championship approaches, Foden is poised to shine on the international stage, eager to add another accolade to his illustrious career. Having conquered every possible milestone with City, he now sets his sights on solidifying his status as an England football icon, poised to dazzle audiences with his prowess in Germany.
