The 48-year-old Italian coach guided the Nerazzurri to the Champions League final last season, although they endured a bitter 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in Istanbul. However, this setback served as motivation for the team in the subsequent season.
Inter dominated Serie A this season, outclassing their rivals Milan and Juventus on their way to claiming their 20th league title, marking their second Scudetto under Inzaghi’s tenure. Consequently, there are plans to extend his contract for the long term in the near future.
Inzaghi’s accolade as Coach of the Season was confirmed by Lega Serie A, highlighting his success in guiding Inter to victory in 29 out of 37 matches while only enduring two defeats.
