Vincent Kompany set to become Bayern Munich’s new coach

Bayern Munich is set to appoint Vincent Kompany as their new head coach, following his Burnley side's relegation from the Premier League. Company, a former Manchester City captain, is expected to bring some of his Burnley staff to the club. The appointment follows rejections from several other managers, including Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick, and Oliver Glasner.

Bayern Munich are poised to appoint Vincent Kompany as their new head coach. The 38-year-old Belgian’s appointment comes after his Burnley side were relegated from the Premier League. Clarets owner Alan Pace reportedly held talks with Bayern over a compensation package on Wednesday. Kompany, a former Manchester City captain, earned recognition as one of the hottest young managers after leading Burnley to the top flight last year.

Despite a new five-year contract to fend off interest from Tottenham and Chelsea, Burnley struggled in the Premier League, spending almost £100 million on players but facing relegation with a week left in the season.Bayern Munich have been seeking a new manager after parting ways with Thomas Tuchel. The German giants faced rejections from Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick, and Oliver Glasner.

Brighton also showed interest in Kompany following Roberto De Zerbi’s departure, but Bayern’s pursuit ended their hopes. Aston Villa’s Unai Emery was also considered by Bayern, but after guiding Villa to the Champions League with a fourth-place finish, Emery signed a new deal. Kompany is expected to bring some of his Burnley staff with him as he prepares to take charge of Bayern Munich.
