Sky Sport Italia has confirmed that Thiago Motta will officially notify Bologna of his decision to join Juventus for the upcoming 2024-25 season. This announcement is expected to occur during a meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

The report from Sky Sport Italia solidifies the speculation surrounding Motta’s appointment as the new coach of Juventus. Additionally, it sheds light on the primary targets set by the Bianconeri for the upcoming transfer window. These targets include Michele Di Gregorio from Monza for the goalkeeping position, Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna for the defense, and Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta for the midfield.

Earlier in the day, Gazzetta dello Sport had already hinted at Motta’s decision to join the Serie A giants for the next season. However, Sky Sport Italia’s report provides further details regarding the agreement between Juventus and their incoming coach.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Motta is expected to sign a three-year contract with Juventus, earning €5 million per season. This contrasts with Gazzetta’s earlier report, which suggested a two-year contract with an option for a third year, and a salary of €3.5 million per season.
