Erik ten Hag will manage Manchester United for the last time at Wembley on Saturday in the FA Cup final before departing the club this summer, reports Gianluca Di Marzio via SoccerNews.nl. Despite the outcome against Manchester City, the Red Devils are already searching for a new manager.

Following a challenging season where United finished eighth in the Premier League with a negative goal difference, Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford has become uncertain. The club will only secure European football next season if they win the FA Cup final. Manchester United have been linked with Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna and England manager Gareth Southgate as potential replacements. Former Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel and recently available Mauricio Pochettino are also considered candidates.

Di Marzio noted: “McKenna is a standout in the coaching world due to his success at Ipswich Town. He is Brighton & Hove Albion’s top choice but has also been in discussions with Manchester United. At the season’s end, United will part ways with Ten Hag.

“Manchester United is in the market for a new coach, with McKenna and Pochettino as top targets. Although De Zerbi is also on the list, he hasn’t been contacted recently. If McKenna moves to Chelsea, United will pursue Pochettino. However, it’s certain they are parting ways with Ten Hag.”

Several clubs, including Bayern Munich, Juventus, Brighton, Chelsea, and potentially Barcelona, if they part with Xavi, are also looking for new head coaches this summer.
