Mohamed Salah has hinted he could stay at Liverpool beyond this summer, despite links to a move following Jurgen Klopp’s departure. Salah’s contract expires in June 2025, and there has been significant interest from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Ittihad previously bidding £170 million and potentially willing to offer £200 million.

After the season ended, Salah posted a photo with his daughters on the Anfield pitch and tweeted a farewell to Klopp, expressing gratitude for their shared successes. He followed up with a tweet suggesting his commitment to Liverpool, stating, “We will do everything possible to make [trophies] happen next season. Our fans deserve it, and we will fight like hell.”

New manager Arne Slot, who signed a three-year contract, will hope to keep Salah. Slot was introduced after Klopp’s farewell, where Klopp urged fans to support the new manager. Slot, leaving Feyenoord, acknowledged the challenge but expressed excitement about joining one of the world’s biggest clubs.
