Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho is being targeted for a lucrative return to management in Saudi Arabia, with Al-Qadsiah reportedly interested in securing his services for next season. The former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham boss has been without a job since being sacked by Roma in January.

Despite being linked with a potential return to Chelsea, Mourinho ruled himself out of the running, citing his refusal to attend games despite living close to Stamford Bridge. Al-Qadsiah, who is based in Al Khobar and owned by Aramco, is set to be promoted to the Saudi Pro League and has ambitious plans to challenge other top clubs.

Mourinho has previously rejected offers from the Saudi league, including from Al-Shabab, but reports suggest he could be interested in the Al-Qadsiah project. The 65-year-old has kept busy during his time away from football, attending Formula One and Moto GP races, as well as working on new tactical ideas. He recently shared his belief that a manager will one day opt not to use a goalkeeper in an attempt to score late in a game.
