Arsenal are reportedly at the forefront in the pursuit of Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, who is keen on a move to one of Europe’s top five leagues at the end of the season. The 23-year-old has been in impressive form this season, ranking as the Eredivisie’s third top scorer with 21 league goals.

According to Mexican outlet Record, Gimenez has already made up his mind about leaving Feyenoord and will open talks regarding his future in the summer. While Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also interested in Gimenez, he reportedly favors a move to La Liga, where Barcelona and Real Madrid have shown past interest. However, Barcelona’s financial constraints and Madrid’s likely signing of Kylian Mbappe could hinder a move to Spain.

Feyenoord is open to selling Gimenez if the right offer comes along, and the player himself is eager to make an impact in one of Europe’s top leagues. With Tottenham Hotspur also linked with Gimenez, a potential North London bidding war could ensue for the talented striker’s services.

Here is the highlight video of Santiago Gimenez’s goals.
