Massimiliano Allegri’s future at Juventus is becoming increasingly uncertain, with Thiago Motta and Antonio Conte emerging as the frontrunners to potentially replace the Livorno-born coach next season.

Allegri’s current contract at the Allianz Stadium is set to expire in June 2025, but numerous sources in Italy suggest that Juventus may part ways with him during the summer.

Most experts in the betting arena also anticipate a change in leadership for Juventus come June. Among the various online platforms, BetZillion stands out as a highly reliable and popular choice among users. The platform not only offers top-notch betting options but also provides valuable insights, rankings, bookie reviews, guides, and news, including updates on the odds of potential candidates to succeed Allegri at Juventus.

Both Allegri and the club have refrained from quelling transfer rumors in recent times.

During a recent press conference before a Derby della Mole against Torino, the Bianconeri coach did not assure his stay at the club, stating, “I think that with the Champions League qualification, €100m is at stake, so right now, this is the main objective, and everyone is involved. As for the future, as always, the club will decide what is best for Juventus. Now, the best thing to do is to stick together and play for this target.”

Similarly, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli declined to confirm whether the 56-year-old coach would remain at the Allianz Stadium in the long term. “At the end of the season, there will be time to sit down and understand what the future of Juventus will be with clear objectives. That is what we did last summer. The coach has a contract, he is doing a great job, and at the end of the season, we’ll sit down to talk with him.” Giuntoli stated before last week’s derby.

Allegri returned to Juventus in the summer of 2021 following Andrea Pirlo’s departure. While Pirlo managed to secure a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa in his sole season in charge of the Bianconeri, Allegri ended the past two seasons empty-handed.

Criticism from fans on social media regarding Allegri’s defensive playing style and a string of poor results, with Juventus winning just two Serie A games out of their last 11, could spell trouble for the Italian tactician, who previously clinched 11 trophies in his initial five years at the Allianz Stadium between 2014 and 2019.

Allegri initially joined Juventus when Conte surprisingly resigned one day into the 2013-14 pre-season. Now, Conte, the former Chelsea and Tottenham coach, is a contender to replace him in Turin.

However, Giuntoli’s primary target appears to be the promising Bologna coach Thiago Motta, who is currently battling for a historic Champions League qualification with the Rossoblu and has a contract expiring in June. If Allegri departs in June, it wouldn’t be surprising to see either Motta or Conte on the Allianz Stadium bench for the 2024-25 season.
