Arsenal has reportedly made a move to sign defender Willian Pacho, 22, from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. Pacho has been a standout performer for Frankfurt this season, attracting attention from several top clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to reports, Arsenal has tabled a £38 million bid for the Ecuadorian center-back. However, Frankfurt is holding out for a minimum of £43 million for the player. Liverpool is also said to be interested in Pacho but has not yet made an offer. Arsenal’s bid for Pacho comes as part of their plans to strengthen the squad following their disappointing Champions League exit. The Gunners are reportedly targeting several other players, including Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko, and Viktor Gyokeres.

Speaking after Arsenal’s quarter-final defeat to Bayern Munich, manager Mikel Arteta expressed disappointment but acknowledged the team’s efforts against a more experienced opponent. Arsenal will look to bounce back when they face Wolves on Saturday night.
