The Reds have affirmed that the planned two percent hike in ticket prices for the upcoming season will stand, notwithstanding concerns raised by Liverpool supporters. These concerns prompted discussions between the club and the Supporters Board in recent days.

In an official statement, the club stated, “Today, representatives from LFC and the Supporters Board met to discuss engagement processes and the recent two per cent ticket price rise announced for general admission and matchday tickets.”

However, both parties acknowledged the need for more meaningful engagement regarding ticket prices, leading to an agreement to review and enhance communication methods in collaboration with the Supporters Board.

The meeting also addressed potential increases in membership fees for the next season. While Liverpool had initially proposed a slight rise, it was agreed to postpone any changes until more substantial engagement could occur between the club and the Supporters Board.

Despite the increase in general admission and match-day ticket prices, it was agreed that membership fees would remain unchanged until further dialogue could be conducted. During the recent loss to Atalanta, protests were evident, with supporters groups abstaining from displaying flags across Anfield in response to the price hikes.

Despite these tensions, Liverpool fans remain steadfast in their support as the team navigates the final games of the season. Jurgen Klopp’s squad finds itself in a fierce battle for the Premier League title alongside Arsenal and Manchester City, while also aiming to overturn a 3-0 deficit against Atalanta in the Europa League.
