Former West Ham winger Felipe Anderson is reportedly on the verge of signing for Juventus, bringing an end to his second spell with Lazio. The Brazilian forward, 30, is expected to leave Lazio when his contract expires in the summer, having scored 56 goals and provided 63 assists in 318 games across his two stints with the Serie A side.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Anderson is set to remain in Italy, with Juventus close to finalizing a deal. The two-time European champions have reportedly sent a formal proposal to the winger, and a verbal agreement is said to be in the final stages, with the deal set to be sealed soon.
Anderson spent three years at West Ham, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists in 73 appearances before a loan spell at Porto. He earned one of his two Brazil caps during his time in East London. The winger had previously hinted at a return to his boyhood club Santos following their relegation from the Brazilian top tier, saying, “I would like to go back there one day to help Santos.”
