Pioli confirmed that Bennacer could indeed fill in for Loftus-Cheek. Although Bennacer had missed some training sessions due to illness, he and some of his teammates are capable of playing in that position.

Pioli commented that Reijnders has frequently played on the left, depending on Rafael Leao’s defensive positioning.
