Inter forward Marko Arnautovic has resumed training ahead of schedule and may be poised to make a comeback to the matchday roster as Inter faces Udinese in Serie A this Sunday.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, Arnautovic is being considered for inclusion in the squad against Udinese.

The 34-year-old has been absent from Inter’s last two Serie A fixtures – a 2-0 victory over Empoli and a 1-1 draw with Napoli – which sandwiched the recent international break. Additionally, he was not part of the Austria national team squad for friendlies against Turkey and Slovakia in March.

In other injury updates for Inter, Juan Cuadrado is nearing a return from an achilles tendon injury that has sidelined him since September’s end.

Furthermore, Stefan De Vrij is anticipated to rejoin the training group on either Friday or Saturday, as per updates from Thursday. However, the Udinese match is likely to come too soon for his return to competitive action.
