Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri is reportedly looking to leave Old Trafford permanently this summer, with Granada being his preferred destination. The 22-year-old Uruguayan joined United from Penarol in October 2020 for £7.65 million but has struggled for playing time, making only 24 appearances and providing two assists.

Pellistri spent the second half of this season on loan at Granada, where he scored once and assisted twice in seven matches. Despite having one year left on his United contract, he is keen on securing a permanent transfer to Granada. His desire to leave United stems from a lack of consistent playing time, despite being assured of a first-team spot when he joined. Pellistri’s agent, Edgardo Lasalvia, suggested that Pellistri’s future at United depends on his performance and the managerial situation, hinting at his dissatisfaction with manager Erik ten Hag.

Pellistri, who has 19 caps for Uruguay, impressed during his loan spell at Granada, notably scoring and assisting in a 3-3 draw against Barcelona. He will be hoping to continue such performances to secure a permanent move away from Manchester United.
