Newcastle United is preparing for potential bids from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, rumored to be around £100 million, for their star striker Alexander Isak. However, Toon boss Eddie Howe has issued a warning to the London clubs, stating that Isak is not for sale. Isak, 23, has been in fine form this season, scoring 14 Premier League goals in 21 games, including two penalties in a recent 4-3 win over West Ham.

Despite Newcastle breaking their transfer record to sign Isak for £60 million from Real Sociedad in 2022, financial fair play (FFP) rules could force the club to consider offers, especially if they fail to secure a European place. While Isak has hinted at being open to a move, Howe has emphasized that the striker is a crucial part of Newcastle’s plans, stating, “He’s an outstanding talent and no one connected with Newcastle would want to lose him.”

Isak’s recent form has attracted attention from Arsenal and Spurs, with the former reportedly already planning a summer bid for the £100 million-rated forward. Tottenham, too, is monitoring the situation, with Brentford’s Ivan Toney also on their radar for a similar fee. Howe praised Isak’s performance against West Ham, highlighting his two penalty goals and overall play, stating, “His link play, athleticism, he looked in a really good place.”
