Pulisic played a pivotal role in securing the USMNT’s third consecutive CONCACAF Nations League title by defeating Jamaica and Mexico, marking another successful chapter in his season. After enduring several turbulent seasons, the winger has finally hit his stride at the club level.

Reflecting on his experiences in Serie A, Pulisic shared how his positional usage has influenced his performance. In an interview following the victory in Texas, Pulisic disclosed the impact of his role in Serie A on his game. Responding to questions about his new position posed by Jesse Marsch on CBS after the CONCACAF Nations League victory, Pulisic admitted, “I never anticipated feeling so at ease on the right side. Personally, I still favor playing on the left side, where I believe my strengths lie in cutting inside and dribbling with my left foot. However, I’ve gained valuable insights, and it has significantly altered my approach. I’ve adapted to find ways to infiltrate the box and contribute goals from the right flank.”

Following his stint at Chelsea, Pulisic has experienced a resurgence at San Siro, featuring in 25 out of 29 league games for Rossoneri. Manager Stefano Pioli’s decision to deploy him on the right has proven fruitful, with Pulisic emerging as the team’s second-highest scorer, trailing only Olivier Giroud.

Despite Milan’s secure position in Serie A, nearly certain to secure a Champions League qualification spot, they remain 14 points adrift of leaders Inter. As they prepare to face Fiorentina this weekend, Pulisic and his teammates are also focused on their upcoming Europa League quarter-final clash against rivals Roma.
