Following inquiries about the racist mistreatment he has faced since joining Real Madrid, the Brazilian player became emotional, confessing, “Sometimes I have less and less desire to play but I want to keep fighting.”

However, this heartfelt moment seemed to displease Chilavert, as a social media profile linked to the goalkeeper criticized Vinicius. A response from the account to the footage of the Real Madrid player’s emotional reaction stated: “Bread and circus, he is the first one to insult and attack rivals. Don’t be a f*ggot, football is for men.”

Vinicius has encountered racist abuse numerous times in Spain. Following a notable incident against Valencia last season, he expressed his frustration on social media, asserting that La Liga “harbors racists.” Since then, he has committed to combating racism in Spain to spare future generations from such mistreatment.

The Madrid athlete will be part of the lineup against Spain on Tuesday for Brazil’s match against the European team in a friendly. Additionally, he will return to La Liga action with Madrid facing Athletic Club on Sunday.
