Manchester United, a Premier League side, is reportedly planning a bid to acquire Juventus center-back Gleison Bremer for the upcoming summer transfer window, as stated in Italian newspapers’ back pages on Saturday.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Bremer is identified as United’s top priority for the summer transfer period, and Juventus may not be able to prevent his departure if his release clause is activated.

Reports indicate that Bremer’s contract includes a release clause set at a modest €50 million.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new investor at United, is said to be enthusiastic about the prospect of acquiring Bremer and is anticipated to spare no expense in reshaping the team for the 2024-25 season.

While Juventus would prefer to retain Bremer, who was brought in for a reported fee of €50 million in 2022, they stand to gain a substantial financial boost if United presents a reasonable offer.

Bremer’s current contract with Juventus runs until the summer of 2028.
