Federico Pastorello, representing his client Arthur, announced that the midfielder will conclude his loan spell at Fiorentina and return to Juventus by the season’s end. Pastorello disclosed this information during the ‘Transfer Room’ event held in Rome, providing insights into Arthur’s future.
As per Pastorello, Arthur, formerly of Barcelona and Liverpool, is poised to rejoin Juventus after his tenure with Fiorentina. The midfielder’s return to Juventus is primarily due to his high salary, which renders him financially unsustainable for Fiorentina. Pastorello mentioned that Arthur is content with his time at Fiorentina, but it’s unlikely that they will trigger his purchase clause. Instead, negotiations might follow thereafter.
In addition to Arthur, Pastorello also touched upon another client, Alex Meret, revealing that his contract with Napoli will automatically prolong.
Arthur’s temporary move to Fiorentina last summer was sealed with a €2m agreement. Fiorentina holds an option to secure his permanent transfer for €20m. The midfielder, earning €4.5m plus bonuses, is under contract with Juventus until June 2026. Last summer, he extended his contract by an additional season before embarking on his loan spell at the Stadio Franchi.
