During Burnley’s match against Brentford, on-loan Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana shocked fans with what has been dubbed the “miss of the century.” Fofana missed from close range, less than six yards out, with the goal gaping. A well-executed move by Burnley saw Lorenz Assignon deliver a low cross to Fofana, who had positioned himself well in front of goal.

However, his side-footed effort inexplicably rolled wide of the post, leaving Fofana in disbelief as he sunk to his knees.
