For Inter, their season in Europe is coming to a conclusion. The Nerazzurri won’t be repeating their Champions League final run from the previous year.

Inter had a tiny advantage going into the second leg of their round of sixteen matchup with Atletico Madrid. However, the group was unable to hold onto it.

Federico Dimarco’s first goal of the game and Inter’s second goal overall came after a seamless team counterattack, and everything seemed to be going well for Inter.

However, defender Benjamin Pavard’s error at the back gave Antoine Griezmann the opportunity to score shortly after. Inter never seemed to be at ease after that.
