Bill McMurdo, the representative of Bologna standout Lewis Ferguson, discussed the attention garnered from Juventus, Inter, and Milan, emphasizing his client’s unwavering stance. The 24-year-old Scottish player has notably emerged as one of Serie A’s most promising midfield talents in the past year and a half, contributing significantly to his team’s impressive performance under Thiago Motta’s guidance this season. Bologna currently sits fourth in the table with 10 games remaining.

Ferguson, under contract with Bologna until June 2027, has showcased exceptional form this campaign, registering six goals and five assists in 29 appearances across all competitions. McMurdo stressed that if any of these clubs were to approach Ferguson, Bologna’s management would need to assess the offers.

McMurdo also commented on the influence of Thiago Motta on Ferguson’s development, acknowledging the coach’s exceptional qualities. He suggested that if Thiago Motta were to join Juventus, his respect for Ferguson might lead him to pursue the player, making it challenging for Ferguson to turn down such an opportunity.
