Harry Kane’s quest for his first career title has suffered a significant setback as Bayern Munich faltered against Freiburg, virtually ending their Bundesliga title hopes. Thomas Tuchel’s team endured another disappointing performance, conceding an 87th-minute equalizer.

Freiburg took the lead early on, with Christian Gunter scoring in the 12th minute. Bayern’s Mathys Tel leveled the score before half-time, and Jamal Musiala’s goal in the 75th minute seemed to secure the win. However, Bayern’s defense faltered, allowing Lucas Holer to equalize for Freiburg late in the game. The result leaves Bayern trailing Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen by a potential ten points, pending Leverkusen’s match against Cologne.

Bayern’s recent form has been poor, with just one win in their last five matches across all competitions, including a 3-0 defeat to Leverkusen and a shocking loss to Lazio in the Champions League. Tuchel will depart as manager at the end of the season, with Xabi Alonso a leading candidate to replace him, despite interest from Liverpool.

Here is the highlight video of Freiburg vs. Bayern Munich, which ended with a 2-2 draw.
