At United the situation is different, it is very difficult to do something with the team that Ten Hag has at the moment.”
Ten Hag ended United’s six-year trophy drought by winning the Carabao Cup last season and securing a return to the Champions League. However, inconsistency has plagued the team in the 2023-24 season, and with Ratcliffe now involved as a partial owner, changes are being considered at Old Trafford both on and off the pitch.
