Zirkzee has emerged as Milan’s top target for bolstering their attacking lineup in the upcoming summer transfer window. However, Bologna’s valuation of the player exceeds €60 million. Bayern Munich presents a unique opportunity, as they possess a clause enabling them to re-acquire the Dutch striker for €40 million at the conclusion of the current season.
Tuttosport indicates that Milan could capitalize on Zirkzee’s potential return to Germany during the summer, as Bayern has expressed interest in acquiring either Maignan or Theo Hernandez from Milan.
In the event of Zirkzee’s return to Bayern, Milan could consider sending either Maignan or Theo to Germany in exchange for funds, along with the 22-year-old forward.
The report suggests that Milan has not specified an asking price for their French talents, but it appears improbable that they would settle for less than €80-100 million for each player.
Both Theo and Maignan are scheduled to meet with Milan soon to discuss extending their contracts. According to Tuttosport, they will both seek a new annual salary of €7 million, inclusive of bonuses.
