Before their Champions League away match against RB Leipzig, Real Madrid’s squad bus was involved in an accident.

Due to strikes in Germany, Los Blancos were unable to arrive at Leipzig airport on Monday, February 12; instead, they landed in Erfurt this morning and then took a coach to cover the remaining 100 miles of their journey.

That portion of the trip saw an accident involving a vehicle who was purportedly photographing the Real family while attempting to change lanes. According to Bild, their white Toyota had damage totaling more than £2,000, which included a broken wing mirror.

The bus barely made it out of the accident with only minor damage to the driver’s side. No one was hurt in the event. Real continued on to the Steigenberger hotel, where they arrived at approximately 3 p.m.

“A fan who lost his way because he was filming the bus in his car,” a club insider told Marca. It bounced as the steering wheel went. We were blind to it. It was observed by those who boarded the busses behind us.”
