Conor Gallagher scored a brace against Crystal Palace, and Chelsea supporters loved that he chose to celebrate against his previous team.

The Blues’ trip to Selhurst Park in the Premier League was not good, with Gallagher being the only bright spot. The Englishman impressed the Palace supporters while his loan there during the 21–22 season.

On his most recent visit back to south London, the midfielder was the star of the show, tallying two goals to lead the Blues to victory. Early in the second half, Gallagher scored to draw even before scoring what would ultimately be the game-winning goal in injury time.

Not every player does this against their previous team, but Gallagher wheeled away in celebration after scoring both of his goals. Blues enthusiasts cherished it. One posted on X: “It was also nice to see Gallagher really celebrating after scoring against Palace! In actuality, Conor Gallagher is class. Bravo to him for the festivities. He has nothing to do with Palace, and he rejoiced rightfully.” a second posted. While a third said: “Galagher deserves credit for his celebration against the team he has played for.”
