Rio Ferdinand has maintained that, despite his brilliant achievements for the north London team, Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka is not a “world-class” talent.

Saka, 22, scored goals both before and after the break to help Arsenal defeat West Ham 6-0 on Sunday afternoon. Saka ended up with a brace. By achieving this, Saka reached 50 goals for Arsenal and brought his total goal contributions to exactly 100, becoming him the youngest player to do it in more than 40 years.

Still, in spite of the 22-year-old’s impressive performances, former Manchester United centre-back Ferdinand is not convinced the player is ‘world-class’.

Ferdinand stated on Vibe with FIVE: “Not yet.” Hehe, I believe Saka has been great. With how many games he plays for a small child, I really think he needs a little vacation.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, according to Rio Ferdinand, is not a “world-class” talent.

Nonetheless, the former Manchester United defender acknowledged that the Gunners winger has been “unreal.”

“However, it’s almost like, in my opinion, what is world-class? That’s not what he did in the Champions League, is it? “I’m discussing the specifics right now,” he remarked.

But don’t get me wrong, Saka’s top. He’s not quite up to par yet.

Saka scored his 50th goal on Sunday afternoon from the penalty spot after 41 minutes, while Gabriel and Leandro Trossard added goals to make the score 4-0 at halftime.

After the break, the 22-year-old scored another goal, and Declan Rice, his former team’s opponent, completed the triumph with a spectacular goal at the London Stadium to complete the rout.

Saka thought after the game that Arsenal could have had more if they had been more clinical, even with such a convincing win.
