Aston Villa has been dealt a significant blow as midfielder Boubacar Kamara is feared to miss the remainder of the season due to a suspected ACL injury. The 24-year-old French star sustained the injury during Villa’s Premier League clash against Manchester United, hobbling off the pitch in agony. Kamara had been in sharp form before his unfortunate moment, but his season now hangs in the balance.

The injury occurred as Kamara closed down Manchester United’s Casemiro, with his right knee visibly wobbling upon falling to the ground. Despite receiving initial treatment on the pitch, Kamara was unable to continue and was replaced by Moussa Diaby. Further scans will determine the extent of the damage, but it is anticipated that Kamara could be sidelined until the summer, potentially ruling him out of contention for the Euros.

This setback marks another ACL injury for Aston Villa this season, following similar blows to Emi Buendia and Tyrone Mings earlier in the campaign. The club has confirmed Kamara’s injury and will await further consultation with a knee specialist to assess his condition.
